To Coach Brooks and our lady Condors, thank you for serving as an inspiration to others by making a positive impact in the Curie community and redefining possible for those around you. “Our team wants to be remembered for hopefully being the first girls basketball team out of Curie to go to win our conference,” said Raegan King, who nominated the team for the honor. Our girls basketball team received recognition as 'High School Team of the Week' as well as a nomination for 'High School Team of the Year'. This past weekend, our lady Condors were treated to a pre-game celebration dinner at Pizano's (South Loop) and honored at center court during halftime at the WNBA Chicago Sky season opening game. They demonstrate the Curie Way and all of them are eligible to receive athletic scholarships to compete at the collegiate level because they each have an unweighted GPA that exceeds the minimum 2.3 GPA eligibility criteria for the NCAA Eligibility Clearinghouse.

At the conclusion of each high school season, IWP sponsors an All-Star competition between Illinois All-State Top 40 Boy and Girl Athletes.Īt this time, we'd like to congratulate a few of our Boys Water Polo athletes who will compete as members of the All-Star and Illinois state-level teams.
